Is Buff Dads for you? These are the questions you're probably asking. If not, feel free to drop us a line at;

  • Who is Buff Dads for?

    It's for Dads (or any guys) who have been out of the fitness game for a while, or were never in it, but want to get stronger and improve their health. There are a few key reasons to jump in with us, rather than joining a mainstream gym;

    • You don't like teenagers.
    • You don't train well to Ed Sheeran.
    • You don't want to queue for equipment.
    • You value professional guidance and want to progress in the right way.
    • You want to train with a supportive group and have gym-friends (oo friends).
    • You need something to keep you accountable.
    • You like routine.
  • How does it work?

    Buff Dads sessions are essentially small group Personal Training. You pay a monthly subscription and there are a handful of sessions per week that you can choose to attend. You'll get your own personal plan, and sessions are a mix of your own personal work and group elements. Each session is led by a coach and fully guided throughout.

    You get all the benefits of personal training, but it's a fraction of the cost and you benefit from progressing alongside a regular group.

  • How many dudes in a session?

    Sessions are limited to 8 participants, and our current membership cap is 16. This means no session is over-crowded and you have access to all of the guidance that you need. It does however, mean that if you want to join, you need to join, as we can't guarantee you a space.

  • When do the sessions run?

    Head to the Stronger You Gym website, where you can see where we fit in to the timetable. Buff Dads is constantly growing which means more sessions and more chances to train.

  • How much does it cost?

    A Buff Dads membership costs £80 per month, and you can go to as many sessions as you like. Let's say you go to 2 sessions a week, that's roughly £9 per session. Compare that to having a personal trainer and thank us later.

    There's also an option to train once a week, for £60 per month.

  • Do you do drop-in classes?

    We hate to say it, but random workouts here and there will do f*ck all to get you towards your goal.

    Buff Dads is meant for guys who are committed to making a change. Consistency = results and our monthly plans encourage this. If anything comes up, you can cancel at any time with 30days notice.

    There's a limited number of spaces on our programme and therefore we don't offer any sort of pay-as-you-go service.

    There's a one-week trial available if you'd like to see how it goes before fully committing.

  • How do I sign up for membership?

    Memberships are available through the Stronger You Gym website here. You can also trial your first week for 20 quid.
